Selective high schools form part of the NSW Department of Education's commitment to identify and provide a range of opportunities for high potential and gifted students in NSW. For further information see the High Potential and Gifted Education Policy.

Selective high school placement is most appropriate for those students classified as having very high to extremely high academic merit.

Applications are now open for placement in Year 7 in 2023.

Applications close for placement in Year 7 in 2023 on 17 November 2021.
